General: How to place a Campaigns

Step-by-Step Guide for Placing Your First Campaign

1. Log in to Marq

  • Start by logging into your Marq account.
  • Note: If you don't have access to Campaigns, please ask a member of your admin team to grant you the necessary permissions.

2. Access the Campaigns Dashboard

  • Navigate to the Campaigns Dashboard from your Marq home page.

  • This dashboard is your central hub for creating and managing Campaigns, as well as monitoring their performance.
  • Tip: If you’re placing your first Campaign, the dashboard will be blank, with a prompt to create a new Campaign.

3. Create a New Campaign

  • Click on the 'Create Campaign' button in the top right-hand corner to start the process.
  • Select Campaign Objective:
    • Generate Leads: Choose this if your goal is to capture potential customer information.
    • Reach: Focus on maximizing visibility and awareness.
    • Traffic: Drive users to a specific website or landing page.
  • Select Campaign Type:
    • One-Time Payment: Pay for the Campaign once, with no recurring charges.
    • Recurring Subscription: Opt for continuous campaigns with regular payments. This is most commonly used for Brand Awareness or Retargeting Campaigns that you want always running.
  • The Campaign Type you choose will determine the media type and channels where your ad will be displayed.
  • Choose a Template:
    • Browse and select a template that aligns with your campaign goals.

4. Customize Your Campaign

    • Update Images:
      • Click on any image placeholder in the template and select the “replace image” button.
      • Choose a new image from your library or upload one that fits your campaign’s message.
    • Edit Copy:
      • Modify or delete text as required, including changing status information.
      • Convert pre-populated text fields to regular text fields if you need to edit them.

5. Configure Campaign:

    • Name your campaign for easy identification.

    • Preview and Modify Ad Copy
    • Set Landing Page and Postal Code
      • Confirm the preset landing page linked to the ad Campaign.
    • Enter the postal code for the property listing or target feeder markets (minimum 15 miles, up to 50 miles).

    • Set Campaign Duration and Budget

    • Recommended: 10 days duration.
    • Set your budget (e.g., $100 for the first campaign).
    • Confirm Payment and Launch

    6. Monitor Campaign Performance

    • Navigate to the campaigns page to see all active campaigns.
    • Click on the campaign to view metrics and details related to leads.

    Connect to your Personal FB Page

    1. Go to your Account Settings.

    2. Select the Campaigns Tab.

    3. Select ‘Manage Linked Facebook Pages’

    4. Add Business Page.

    • Follow the prompts on page to authenticate your FB Business page. 
    • *Note: You will need Business Manager or Admin access to the page to make the connection.

    5. Return to your Account Settings page and Validate Connection.
