Defining Approvals

Below we explain how we define the word “approvals” as it shows up in different metrics and reports in your analytics dashboard. 


  • Approvals: approvals can be activated within your Marq account to allow your team to review collateral created before it can be exported/shared/distributed by a user.
  • Statuses: 
      • Need approval: when a user completes a project they will submit a request for approval. 
      • Need re-approval: when an approver requires additional updates or the user makes adjustments to the project which changes the project from the originally approved content.
      • Approved: A team member with Approval permission reviewed and approved project.
      • Declined: A team member with Approval permission reviewed and declined project.
