Understanding Marq’s 2026 Enterprise Plan Updates

Marq is updating its Enterprise offering to include AI Brand Creation capacity tiers alongside advanced content creation, governance, integration, and security capabilities. This article explains what is changing for Enterprise customers and what to expect.
What is changing?
The new structure has two ways to grow with Marq:
- Seats determine how many people can access the account.
- AI Brand Creation capacity measures account-wide use of AI-powered features in projects that are downloaded, exported, printed, or published.*
Every plan includes both seat access and an AI Brand Creation capacity tier.
*****An AI Brand Creation, or ABC, is counted when a project that used an AI-powered Marq feature is distributed through one of those actions. Using an AI feature while editing does not count until the project is distributed.
What is included with Enterprise?
Marq Enterprise is designed for organizations that need to manage content creation across teams, departments, or brands. Key capabilities include:
- A custom number of seats with no standard seat cap
- Unlimited data integrations, the Templating API, and Embedded Marq Integration
- Security and sign-on integrations, domain lockdown, user roles, and storage integrations
- Advanced governance and workflow capabilities
- Implementation support and negotiated legal terms
- An account-level AI Brand Creation capacity tier
The features available to your organization may depend on your specific Enterprise agreement. Marq will provide account-specific details before any changes take effect.
Who is affected?
All customers on an Enterprise plan will transition to an enhanced plan that incorporates AI Brand Creation capacity tiers.
Free, Pro, and Team account updates will be announced at a later date. Marq will contact customers directly with the details and timing that apply to their account.
When is this happening?
The updated Enterprise offering is scheduled to launch on September 22, 2026. Updates for Free, Pro, and Team accounts will be announced at a later date.
Existing customers will receive advance notice before a pricing change takes effect. Current pricing will remain in place until the account's next renewal.
What do existing customers need to do?
No immediate action is required. Review the account-specific information you receive from Marq and contact your account team if you have questions about your new plan, renewal, seats, or AI Brand Creation capacity.
How does AI Brand Creation capacity work?
Each plan includes an account-level AI Brand Creation capacity tier for the subscription period. Capacity is shared across the account, refreshes when the subscription renews, and does not roll over.
Depending on your plan, you may be able to move to a higher capacity tier without changing plans. If your needs exceed the capacity available on your current plan, Marq can help you choose the next plan or capacity tier.
Enterprise customers with 5,000 AI Brand Creations of capacity can request additional capacity at any time. Pricing is quoted when the additional capacity is requested. The incremental fee is prorated for the remainder of the current subscription term, and the full upgraded capacity tier is available immediately.
