How to Export Marq Projects as PowerPoint Files

Marq now includes the ability to export your projects as PowerPoint files. This is a great way to share Marq content with others in your organization who use PowerPoint, making it easy to distribute your designs in a familiar format.

Step 1: Enable PowerPoint Export (Admin Only)

Before anyone can export projects to PowerPoint, an administrator must enable this feature in the admin settings.

If You Are Not an Admin

Contact your admin team and ask them to enable PowerPoint export. They can get this turned on and ready to go for you.

If You Are an Admin

Follow these steps to enable PowerPoint export for your organization:

  1. Log into Marq with your administrator account
  2. Go to the Admin section
  3. Navigate to Brand Management
  4. Scroll down to find Download and Print Restrictions
  5. Look for the PowerPoint checkbox
  6. Check the box to enable PowerPoint export
  7. The setting auto-saves - you're done!

Once enabled, PowerPoint export is available to all users in your organization.

Step 2: Download a Project as PowerPoint

Once PowerPoint export is enabled, you can download any project as a PowerPoint file.

Open Your Project

  1. Open the Marq project you want to export
  2. Make sure the project is ready to download

Access the Download Options

  1. Click Share
  2. Click Download

Select PowerPoint Format

You'll see the download format options, which include the existing methods:

  • PDF
  • PNG
  • JPEG
  • GIF
  • MP4

You'll now also see a new section called Presentation. This is where you can find the PowerPoint option.

  1. Click PowerPoint in the Presentation section

Step 3: Choose Which Pages to Export

When you select PowerPoint, you'll be asked which pages you want to include:

Page Selection Options

  • All Pages: Exports the entire project as a multi-slide PowerPoint presentation
  • Current Page: Exports only the page you're currently viewing
  • Page Range: Exports a specific range of pages you specify
  1. Choose your preferred page selection
  2. Click Download

Step 4: Access Your PowerPoint File

Once you click Download:

  1. Marq processes your project
  2. The PowerPoint file downloads to your computer
  3. Look in your Downloads folder for the .pptx file
  4. Open it in PowerPoint or any compatible application

Your Marq project is now available as a PowerPoint file that you can share, present, or edit as needed.

Who can enable PowerPoint export?
